Life is a Journey, Embrace It!

I met Ramona on board one of Norwegian Cruise Lines ship, she was T&D meaning Training and Development Officer. Basically she had in hands all the tools, trainings and most important, she had the skills and new the ways on how to teach people to be a better version of themselves, to enhance their skills and become better professionals, and not only at work but also in their personal life. Ramona was very patient with everyone, stayed always focused on the accomplishments she had set as a goal, making sure to find the ways on achieving her goals, which we all know, it is not always easy working with people, especially that on cruise ships, people come from so many different countries around the world, mixed cultures and beliefs, which made her job not as easy as it may normally be on a land-based similar position. But guess what, Ramona never seemed to struggle, never found this as being an obstacle or difficult task, always acted professional and completed all her trainings, mentoring so many crew members on improving their skills and finding ways of working better to achieve their job-related tasks.
